SGA Cabin & Timber was founded in 2023 in Naples, Idaho — a small community tucked into the Selkirk Mountains of the Idaho Panhandle. We were established to do one thing well: build honest log cabins out of the timber that grows in this corner of the country.
We source our logs locally. We saw them locally. We build them in Naples and we deliver them across the Pacific Northwest and Inland West — and beyond. Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Montana are our home territory, but we’re not limited to it.
This isn’t a high-volume factory operation. We take on the projects we can do well, we charge fair prices, and we stand behind every cabin we build. That’s the entirety of our business model.

The Timber Comes From Right Here.
The Idaho Panhandle is home to some of the finest timber in the country. We don’t ship logs in from somewhere else and we don’t buy lumber from a yard. We source our timber from this region, saw it ourselves, and build it into cabins that belong here.
That matters for a lot of reasons. It keeps dollars in this community. It means shorter lead times and better quality control. And it means the cabin you buy from us is genuinely of this place — not just built in it.
Our Mission in Life Is to Point Others to Christ
Our greatest mission is what God has called us to do and that is to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
His word states in Romans 3:23 —
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

And for that sin there is a penalty, and that is death and hell. Romans 6:23 states —
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Because of this, we needed a remedy for sin. A sacrifice for sin and it was the Lord Jesus Christ, who paid our debt on calvary. John 3:16 states —
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”
